I’ve been digging around trying to find a copy of the old Quicktime Tool “Dumpster” for OSX. Having looked through hundreds of mail list results and every conceivable permutation of url on Apple’s website; I remembered that I’m a certified developer.
If you have access to the ADC members area on the developer site, the new version of Dumpster is called “Atom Inspector” and editing timescale values in both locations works identically to the way that Dumpster used to work.
I’d still love to have a url for dumpster, just for posterity. No idea if this is “confidential info” or not but I think that someone else is going to be searching Google (with all the DSLRs out there that can shoot in 60fps, 7D, etc.) Hopefully someone else will find this post and zero in on a solution faster than I did.
