Call for Translators

| Jul 30, 2013 min read

Howdy folks. Some of you might not know that I’ve created an application for the Mac called Gridus. It’s been on sale for a couple of months and we’re seeing regular (if not a bit low) sales figures all over the planet. Gridus is a perspective grid drawing tool.

One of the things that I’d like to do in the near future is to release an update that includes translations for regions where it’s already selling well. I added a French translation to version 1.2 as a sort of test to see how the internationalization stuff works in Xcode; I’d never done it before, and it turns out that technologically speaking it is very easy to do.

If you know anyone that is fluent in any of the following languages that would be interested in helping out converting the twenty or so lines of text in the application; please send them my way (here on tumblr) or at twitter. Reblogging this to your own followers would probably be of great help as well. I don’t have a ton of money to spend on this but I’d rather do it with personal recommendations instead of using a service if at all possible.

Target Translations:

  • Standard Mandarin
  • Thai
  • German
  • Spanish
  • Cyrillic

Thanks everyone for your help.
