Books

Why is it that when I go to the book store and purchase a paper copy of a book, I am forever then, locked into that particular media? It really seems like if I own a book, like really, really own it, I should be able to key in the ISBN number or something; then having access to any of the various digital forms of the book I just bought.

The thought occurs to me while I’m reading David Allen’s newest book, and that I’d very much like to read it tonight but I don’t want to turn the light on. I had this moment where I thought, “That’s okay, I can just pop on the old iPad…” but wait; yeah that won’t work.
