A little Sunday morning game development update!
AteBit is coming along nicely. We’ve finished the principle level design for the first segment of the game (Geoff Rocks!) I worked on revising the main menu this morning to make it really pop! Let me know what you think.
The next big work session we’ll be focusing on tuning the controls for mobile devices. I’m sure if you’ve played any platform games on iOS you’ve had a mixed bag of experiences with control schemes. We want free range of motion for our controller so we are doing a full DPad with some action buttons. Getting this right is really the crux of the whole game, getting it wrong would be disastrous.
